Supermai Hydropower Limited is issuing an Initial Public Offering (IPO) to the public, offering 4,15,000 shares with a face value of Rs 100 each. The IPO will begin on 23rd Magh, 2079 with the goal of raising Rs 4.15 crore. The closing date of the issue is set for 26th Magh, but may be extended until Falgun 08, 2079 if not fully subscribed. Out of the total 500,000 shares offered, 50,000 shares have been allocated to Nepalese citizens working abroad, 10,000 shares have been set aside for company employees, and 25,000 shares have been reserved for mutual funds. The remaining 4,15,000 shares are available to the general public. After the IPO, the company’s paid-up capital will reach Rs 50 crores.

The company previously issued 500,000 unit shares worth Rs 5 crores to affected locals and an additional 50,000 unit shares to Nepalese citizens working abroad. The majority of the shares, 80%, are held by the promoter shareholders.

Sanima Capital Limited has been appointed as the issue manager for the IPO and interested individuals can apply for a minimum of 10 units and a maximum of 20,000 units.

ICRA Nepal has improved the credit rating of Super Mai Hydropower Limited from [ICRANP-IR] BB+ to [ICRANP-IR] BBB-. This rating indicates that the company has a moderate level of safety in regards to meeting its financial obligations in a timely manner.
