BPW Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited is issuing an Initial Public Offering (IPO) to the general public and Nepalese citizens working abroad. 80,950 unit shares will be available to the general public at a face value of Rs 100, with the issue opening on 18th Falgun and closing on 23rd Falgun, 2079. 9,700 units of IPO shares have been allocated for Nepalese citizens working abroad, with the issue opening on 22nd Magh and concluding on 8th Falgun, 2079. If the issue is not fully subscribed by the early closing date for the general public, it may be extended till the 2nd Chaitra. However, the issue will not be extended for Nepalese citizens working abroad.
BPW Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited has allocated 32.33% of its issued capital, or 97,000 unit shares worth Rs. 97 lakhs, for the general public in its Initial Public Offering (IPO). Out of these 97,000 units, 10% or 9,700 units have been designated for Nepalese citizens working abroad, 1.5% or 1,500 units have been set aside for company employees, and 5% or 4,850 units have been allocated for mutual funds. The remaining 80,950 units are available for the general public to purchase.
The IPO for BPW Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited will be managed by Mega Capital Markets Limited. Both the general public and Nepalese citizens working abroad are required to apply for a minimum of 10 units and a maximum of 1,000 units. Following the IPO, the ratio of shares held by the company’s promoters to those held by the public will be 67.67:32.33.

About Company
BPW Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha came into existence in September 2018 and started its operations in April 2019 as an MFI, licensed to operate in Bagmati Province. After its licensing, BPW took over the microfinance business being conducted by Business and Professional Women Patan (BPW Patan), an NGO, established in March 1995 and operating as a financial intermediary since 2002. It is promoted by 72 promoters (71 individual promoters and one NGO BPW Patan with a ~1% equity stake). Mr. Pradeep Koirala is the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the company. The registered and corporate office of BPW is in Banepa -8 Kavre, Nepal.
